The suspect in a stabbing that critically injured a woman in an upscale neighborhood has been booked in Mobile Metro Jail.
Tyrone Owen, 23, was booked at 9:17 p.m. on Wednesday, hours after police say he stabbed his 56-year-old father on Wynnridge Drive and attacked his father’s 35-year-old neighbor and her 2-year-old child.
News 5 talked with the female victim’s sister Wednesday evening. She says “it was a matter of her being in the wrong place at the wrong time.” The female victim was outside getting the mail when she saw Owen running around her neighbor’s house. Concerned for her toddler, she ran in the house to check on her two-year-old. Owen followed her inside her home and attacked her and the child.
The child suffered minor injuries including a black eye. Owen’s 56-year-old father was rushed to USA Medical Center, but his condition is not known.
Owen is charged with assault, robbery, burglary and domestic violence.
A stabbing and attack in West Mobile has left a man, a woman and her child injured. One of the victims, a 35-year-old mother is in the ICU and in critical condition. Her two-year-old child is suffering from minor injuries and a black eye.

Police arrested Tyrone Evans for allegedly stabbing his father moments before he’s suspected of attacking his 35-year-old neighbor and her 2-year-old. Mobile Fire and Rescue tells News 5, Evan’s 56-year-old father’s is at USA Medical Center.
When the victim entered the house, the victim’s sister says Tyone Evans began to attack her 2-year-old. She says the toddler suffered a black eye and other minor injuries. The scuffle between the attacker and the victim sent her to the hospital.
We’re told numerous family members are with her including the man seen in the video punching Evans, Husein Hijaz. Hijaz is charged with harassment and is with his family at USA Medical Center. No charges have been filed against Evans at this point.
UPDATE: 1:30 PM A toddler was also injured, according to MPD. The toddler is the child of the 35-year-old neighbor who was attacked. Mobile police also updated information on the injuries, saying it’s unclear how the neighbor and the toddler were injured. They confirmed that the suspect’s father was stabbed, but now say they aren’t sure if the other victims were stabbed or injured in some other way. The 35-year-old mother is in critical condition.
UPDATE: 12:26 PM A man was handcuffed after attacking what appears to be the suspect of the stabbing. A man was being taken out of the home on a stretcher, when another man rushed the stretcher and began punching him. Police took down and handcuffed the person doing the punching.
UPDATE: Mobile Fire and Rescue confirms 2 people were stabbed and the suspect has also been injured after a stabbing. According to Mobile Fire a 56-year-old man was stabbed by his son and transported to USA Medical Center. The suspect then allegedly went to the home of a 35-year-old woman and stabbed her. She’s in critical condition. In total 2 victims and a suspect were transported to the hospital.
UPDATE: Multiple people have been stabbed including an adult male. We do not know the severity of the injuries
MOBILE, Ala (WKRG) There is a large police presence in a West Mobile neighborhood. It’s happening in the 7000 block of Wynnridge. About a dozen police and emergency vehicles are on the scene. Crime scene tape is blocking off a large part of the neighborhood. Police have not confirmed what’s happening yet.
